Diann Burns: What could be a landmark lawsuit was filed here in Chicago this week. Five women are charging that silicone breast implants made them sick and also damaged their children. They claim the silicone may have seeped into their wombs during pregnancy and later into breast milk. As a result, they say their children suffer from learning disabilities, problems with their immunity systems and skin rashes.

Kenneth B. Moll: Everyday they have a constant fear to look at their children and if anything abnormal to say 'Oh my gosh, was it from the breast implants?'

D. Burns: The FDA has not determined that silicone implants are not safe, but has severely restricted their use. Experts tell us that it's very doubtful that silicone could seep into a womb, but there questions about breast milk.
